With 50 generous players, Roy’s Day Golf Tournament on Sept. 28 at Harbor Lights raised even more funds this year. An avid golfer, Roy Ellsworth, who is a client at the Trudeau Center, is the tournament’s celebrated player. The event raised $2,160 that will go toward Trudeau Center’s new employment center. The facility will provide training and job readiness for clients, explained Trudeau’s Ed Egan. Pictured with Roy lining up a putt on the 9th green alongside a mock giant check are, from left, those who helped plan and run the tournament: Roy’s sister Pat Jankowski, Nikki Hatshorn, Ed Berube of Harbor Lights, Maureen McGovern and Gayle Reid, coordinator of the Trudeau Employment Center.
