With spirit week at the Warwick Boys and Girls Club summer camp coming to a close last Friday, campers and counselors wore blue and white – the club’s colors – to promote the event. The day concluded with groups staging skits and performing dances and song that were judged. Activities would have been conducted at the Masonic grounds in Buttonwoods where the camp meets, but a forecast of possible thunderstorms moved everything to the Oakland Beach branch. The camp that comes to a close on Sept. 1 has been booked tight this year with 150 kids.
