The Oakland Beach branch of the Boys and Girls Club hosted its annual cookout on Friday, June 21, with food supplied by the Cranston 99 Restaurant. Inclement weather forced the approximately 150 kids to be served indoors, but that didn’t dampen the good time. Kids scarfed down burgers and chips and cookies and hung out with friends, enjoying each other’s company and, of course, the food.
