For a second consecutive year, Arthur Simmoni was a raffle winner at the April 14 Spring Fling hosted by the Conimicut Village Association at St. Benedict Church hall. Association president Ginny Barham reported the event, attended by 130, netted $4,500 that will pay for new American flags and village summer floral decorations. “Everybody was very generous,” she said of the efforts that went into the fling. Association members and all those looking to help will meet this Saturday at 10 a.m. at the intersection of Economy and West Shore Road for an Earth Day cleanup of Point Avenue. (Submitted photo)
