Gamm Theatre employees didn’t waste time last week as they cleared the former Ocean State Theatre Co. building in preparation for renovations as Gamm’s new home that will open this September. Furniture, stage sets and materials left behind by Ocean State were piled outside the building on Jefferson Boulevard with signs it was free for the taking. About a dumpster full of items was claimed. Also, as renovations get underway, parking place blocks that had been stockpiled were located on spaces. Making that happen are Malik Peagler, Chris Roy and Oliver Dow, managing director. (Warwick Beacon photo)
