Cardboard regatta at Rocky Hill

As has become the tradition over at least the past eight years, Rocky Hill School fifth graders put their boat building skills to the test using cardboard and a roll of duct tape. Over the years with the younger students keeping an eye on what works and what doesn’t, the vessels have become increasingly seaworthy. Nonetheless, as witnessed Friday, it’s not always as easy as it may seem. During the cardboard regatta, students had to paddle their craft around a buoy and return to shore.
