Toll Gate teachers Dennis Dube and Adam Ricci, who both are volunteering their time to bring robotics to elementary school students during an afternoon program, have been getting some assistance from Toll Gate seniors working on their senior projects. Both the teachers and the high school seniors say they have found fertile ground with a high level of interest from the younger students.

The program that has been made possible with the acquisition of 13 kits by elementary school PTAs runs from 3 to 4 p.m. for eight days at one school before Dube and Ricci take it to another school. The elementary schools participating include Scott, Lippitt, Greenwood, Park and Roberson. The program was initiated by Ryan Mullen of the school department. Dube said he was glad to help out and give back to the community.
