Serving up salads


Tommy Patrick of Dockside Seafood on Warwick Avenue is known for offering a wide selection of foods, but who would have imagined he had 5,000 salads. Hearing of how the response to COVID-19 has put people out of work and in situations where they are facing food insecurity, Patrick called the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. On Monday the food bank sent over a truck to pick up the salads. Patrick is seen here with Debra Vita from his staff preparing to load up the boxed salads. (Warwick Beacon photo)
