On April 22 the Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England with offices down the street from Arooga’s Grille House & Sports Bar joined the establishment to celebrate their one-year anniversary. Arooga’s staged games and giveaways including a cookie and ice cream eating contest for the kids. Also, Arooga’s set aside 15 percent of sales amounting to $2,000, which members of the Mohegan Holding Company, LLC and Arooga’s presented to the Girl Scouts on May 2.
