With the Conimicut home of George and Lori Pesce overlooking upper Narragansett Bay, there seemed to be no better place for a wedding. Lori always thought it would be the perfect venue, and when she learned her Warwick friends, Melissa Doyle and Kevin Clynes, planned to tie the knot she offered their home. The Pesces not only extended the invitation but also enabled the principals to arrive by water. Taking off from Quonset and with clearance from Green, Tom Miozzi brought his friend Kevin in by seaplane. Meanwhile, Melissa, accompanied by her father and two sons, arrived on a pontoon boat with George Pesce at the helm and Anthony Ferri as first mate. Kevin said the forecast for the June 6 wedding, performed by Paster Gene Giguere of Harvest Community Church in Woonsocket, was for rain, but that didn’t happen. “It worked out perfectly,” said Kevin. As for post wedding and reception, the newlyweds returned to their home on Warwick Neck via Audi. (Photos courtesy of Lori Pesce)
