Conimicut was buzzing with ghouls, goblins and gourds on Saturday evening as the fifth annual Spooktacular event took place in the village's main drag. Children of all ages enjoyed a short walk through Donovan Park, which was adorned with many glowing jack-o-lanterns and Halloween decorations. A short walk over to the Friends Way parking lot presented the opportunity to trick-or-treat, play raffles and fun games, like the one pictured where kids were tasked with tossing little pumpkins into cups for prizes. Mayor Joseph Solomon was on hand with wife, Cindy, to welcome guests. The event is coordinated by Woodbury Union Church parishioner Susan Hay, who collaborates with the Conimicut Village Association and local Boy Scout Troops - along with many volunteers.
