Thought you missed the deadline for the Conimicut Spring Fling dinner, music and dancing this Saturday? Well, guess again. Village association president Ginny Barham says tickets at $24 are still available. Sales won’t be made at the door. The event runs from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. at St. Benedict Parish Hall. Dinner includes chicken, pasta, meatballs, potatoes, salad, dessert and coffee, and tickets can be reserved by calling 524-8404 or stopping by Davies Service Center on West Shore Road. It’s not too late, either, to view the ornamental pear trees with their blossoms that have transformed West Shore Road into a white way. Proceeds from the fling pay for flowering decoration through the summer. (Warwick Beacon photos)
