The Don Rodrigues Karate Academy held its 18th annual Toys for Tots tournament Saturday at the academy on Commerce Street off Airport Road. There is no charge to competitors who are urged to bring a toy for the Toys for Tots drive. The toys will be presented tonight at the Victor Venturini Memorial Toys for Tots Telethon at Warwick Mall run by Bob Venturini. Competitors of all ages vied for trophies that Don Rodrigues said were donated by the supplier as part of the Toys for Tots drive. Competitors gathered with organizers and judges for a group shot with the toys and performing for the judges is John D’Angelo IV. (Warwick Beacon photos)
