As they have done for years, the Warwick Veterans Council headed by Anthony Rodrigues placed a wreath at Veterans Memorial Park in observance of Veterans Day Saturday morning. In a brief ceremony DAV chaplain James Hickey said, “The danger in not remembering the sacrifices made by those men and women [veterans] is that as a nation, we may forget that the price of freedom is never cheap.” Attending the ceremony were City Council members Richard Corley, Jeremy Rix, Tim Howe, Joseph Solomon, Donna Travis, Steve McAllister and Ed Ladouceur. Representative Camille Vella-Wilkinson was also in attendance. (Warwick Beacon photo)
