A series of mishaps Friday afternoon at the Oakland Beach seawall led to a damaged motorcycle, an injured driver and a New England Lemonade truck nearly ending up in Greenwich Bay. According to police, Sandra Money, 70, of Providence, was backing up the truck when she struck the parked motorcycle. She is believed to have sought to put the vehicle into park, but evidently shoved into it drive, sending the truck up and nearly over the seawall. Money was taken to Kent Hospital. According to a co-worker, the impact of the accident dislodged the freezer that struck Money. Her condition could not be verified Monday. No charges were brought and Ronnie’s Towing pulled the truck from its precarious perch. (Submitted photo)
