Take spring break, add a lot of rain and the Kent County YMCA Active Family Center turns into a beehive. Y director Julie Casimiro reported that during one of last week’s rainy days more than 230 kids and their families visited the center to play with toys, games and burn off all that pent up energy. A visit Friday when the sun made an appearance was not quite as charged, but then there was the entire outdoors to enjoy.
