Samuel H. Moore, 84, died Saturday, March 11, 2017. He was the beloved husband, for 50 years, of Tina (Pellegrino) Moore.
Born in McNairy County, Tennessee, a son of the late George W. and Beaulah (Barton) Moore. He resided in Tennessee before moving to Warwick in 1993. Mr. Moore was a self-employed welder and the owner of Samuel H. Moore Welding in Tennessee for 20 years, retiring in 1993. He had served in the United States Navy. A 32nd Degree Mason he was a member of the Manchester Lodge No. 12 F.&A.M. in Coventry.
He was the beloved father of Cheryl Wood and her husband, Larry, and Jeffrey A. Moore and his fiancée, Patricia Martin. He was the brother of John Moore, Annie Rea King, and the late Mary Lee LaCraze. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
His funeral service will be held, Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Thomas and Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-6 p.m.
