At their recent meeting, the trustees of the Former Agents of the FBI Foundation voted to award a scholarship for the 2014-2015 academic year to Megan Wilks of Warwick. Megan will attend the University of Rhode Island. She is the granddaughter of former FBI agent Walter Wilks, pictured with her. The funding of the Foundation scholarship program is based in part on an endowment made by the late Rosamond Woodruff Morgan in honor of her husband, Judge Roy L. Morgan. The Former Agents of the FBI Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI, Inc., located in Dumfries, Va. For the 2014-2015 academic year, the Foundation will award a total of 261 scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $20,000 per year.
