Providence-based nonprofit Skills for Rhode Island’s Future (Skills RI) is hosting what promises to be a major opportunity for unemployed and underemployed Rhode Islanders to meet directly with recruiters from some of the State’s biggest employers.
The multi-employer job fair runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza, located at 801 Greenwich Ave in Warwick.
Employers in attendance include AstroNova, Inc., Bank of America, Blount Fine Foods, Boston Energy Wind Power Services, CharterCARE Health Partners, Connect America, Crowne Plaza, CVS Health, Dress for Success, Electric Boat, Family Service of Rhode Island, GEV Wind Energy, Hitachi Cable America Inc., Home Health & Hospice Care of Nursing Placement, Lifespan, Looking Upwards, MOO, New England Institute of Technology/SAMI Program, Nordson EFD, Northern RI Career Academy, Perspectives Corporation, Skills for Rhode Island’s Future, Thielsch Engineering, U.S. Census Bureau, Walgreens, Westerly Education Center, Worthington Industries, Yushin America, Inc.
Skills for Rhode Island’s Future will also have representatives at their own tables and will be recruiting for their full portfolio of direct hire and workforce training-to-hire opportunities.
