Special Olympics looking for votes

Special Olympics has been invited to compete for two remaining spots in Subaru of America's 2012 "Share the Love" event. A Facebook voting competition began on August 6th and runs through August 26th. If at the end of voting Special Olympics is one of the top two charities, it will participate for the second year in the Subaru "Share the Love" event expected to begin November 21, 2012. If selected, customers who purchase a Subaru during the "Share the Love" event can designate Special Olympics as their charity of choice and Subaru will donate $250 to support our athletes. Each of the five charities participating in the 2012 Subaru "Share the Love" event will receive a minimum of $250,000, and the maximum donation among all charities will be $5,000,000. Over the last four years, Subaru has donated nearly $20 million to charity.

Special Olympics remains in third place and needs your help to make up the gap during this final week. You could make the difference and voting is easy. Please visit Subaru's Share the Love Facebook page (sharethelove.subaru.com/facebook) today through August 26 and vote one time each day.

With one simple act, you could help Special Olympics earn a share of the $5 million. Vote for Special Olympics today and feel the pride of a champion.
