St. Peter School dress down helps support Kent Breast Health Center

Students at St. Peter School love a "Dress Down Day," a day when they are allowed to wear non-uniform clothes to school in exchange for a small donation to a charity.

The most recent "Dress Down Day" took on a pink glow when the students, faculty and staff dressed down to support the Breast Health Center at Kent Hospital. On Monday the students on the school's Outreach Committee visited the Breast Health Center and presented the staff with a $360 check. The students also decided to give each caregiver a small treat as well as a copy of the "Caregivers Prayer." The students read the prayer, as well as breast cancer statistics, during a presentation Monday.
