Pilgrim High School gym will soon be transformed into a professional wrestling arena. The school will be the location of Collars and Elbows on Oct. 14, a pro wrestling event organized by Pilgrim senior Sierra Cardenas.
Cardenas, a wrestler herself who has been training for about 2 years and has participated in different shows and events, organized the show for her senior project and will be hosting and participating in it.
The goal of the senior project was to choose and work on a career pathway, and Sierra chose booking and promoting a professional wrestling event for her project.
In an email she said, “Being behind the scenes of events has always interested me, so I figured that this was the perfect opportunity for me to really get an understanding for it.”
Cheer and shout in the stands as professional wrestlers like JT Dunn, Anthony Greene and Christian Casanova face off in wrestling matches in the high school gymnasium. Cardenas, whose wrestler name is “Sierra,” will fight against fellow wrestler Davienne in the main event of the evening.
The cost of admission is $10 and proceeds will benefit the Warwick Animal Shelter. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online by searching “Collars and Elbows” on brownpapertickets.com.
The show begins at 4 p.m. and the doors will be open to the public at 3 p.m. Free parking is available in the student parking lot at the back of the school.

Clearly you are "Justanidiot". If I were you I would research the many components that is required for Senior Projects. I can attest that Sierra is clearly going way above what is required of her and she is just a great girl pursuing her dreams. You should support rather than criticize the efforts of this wonderful KID.

Dear ProudMom,
Please forgive Justanidiot He's always entertaining. (like professional wrestling) and not always "real". (like professional wrestling). By making his comments, he is giving this hard-working student, Sierra, ( I presume she is YOUR wonderful KID) a little more well-earned attention.
Congratulations on her accomplishments. I'm SURE she will get an A+ .See you at the event! And if Justanidiot wants to go, I'll pay!
Happy Autumn everyone.
