Summer winds

For years Jack Welch and his wife Marcy chose the south side of Conimicut Point to park their lawn chairs and pitch their parasol, but on Sunday they opted to face north and they discovered it refreshing. The former principal of Conimicut School, which is now the EBC Center, and later Hoxsie School, Welch brought along a crossword puzzle to keep amused while Marcy had her Kindle. With people fishing, swimming and walking their dogs along the beach, they weren’t lacking for activity.
