Two Johnston students were among 58 high school juniors from across the state who received Young Leader Awards from Seth Magaziner, Rhode Island’s General Treasuer, during a special ceremony Monday at the State House. Lucy M. Baxter, who lives in Johnston and attends Mount Saint Charles Academy in Woonsocket, and Gabriella Scarcella, who attends Johnston High School, were honored with the group Monday.
