Swim lessons and lifeguard certification classes are being offered at McDermott Pool.
Beginning April 1, swim lessons for children ages 5 to 11 will be offered Monday and Tuesday nights from 6 to 6:30. Five lessons are $25 for residents and $30 for non-residents. There will be three separate lifeguard classes for people 16 years old and older. Classes will be held March 18 to 22 from 4 to 8 p.m.; April 15 to 19 from noon to 4 p.m. and May 20 to 24 from 4 to 8 p.m. The cost is $250.
