The Greenwood Credit Union team, one of 15 teams competing, was named the team with the best spirit in last Saturday’s National MS Society’s MS Jet Pull at Green Airport. Teams are challenged with a giant tug of war between a team of participants and a 757 FedEx Jet. The jet weighs more than 72 tons and the team to pull it 12 feet in the fastest time wins. But there’s more to it than bragging rights. With each participant required to raise a minimum of $60, the MS Society and its work to help those with the disease as well as research for a cure is the winner. In Saturday’s pull, teams raised more than $30,000. The Greenwood Credit Union team raised more than $3,000 for the cause. (Submitted photo)
