Ethan Young wouldn’t relinquish the steering wheel of the Model X Tesla in the company’s showroom and service center that officially opened Saturday morning at 399 Bald Hill Road (Warwick Commons) next to West Marine. Tesla officials were tight-lipped on the number of sales since a “soft” opening last week, but given the turnout for a ceremonial ribbon cutting with elected and city officials, interest is high.
