The Toll Gate field hockey team continued its flawless start to the season on Tuesday, as five different players scored a goal in a convincing, 5-1 victory against Cranston East at Cranston Stadium, improving the Titans’ record to 3-0.
Toll Gate overpowered the ’Bolts out of the gate, netting three goals in the first half to take a 3-0 lead into the break, before adding two more goals in the second half.
Quinn Freeman, Alyssa O’Keefe, Isabella Ventre, Grace Barta and Jenna Longo all had a goal apiece for the Titans, while O’Keefe, Emily May, Emily Edge and Gabriella Gallucci each recorded an assist. Mary Greenwell and Emma Newell split time in net, with each stopping three shots.
