They got the call
A contingent of fire apparatus converged early yesterday afternoon at St. Kevin Church, prompting inquiries to the paper whether there was a fire at the church or school. Fortunately, there wasn’t. But, nonetheless, there was an alarm. Andrew Larochelle, pictured here, of Roof Doctor Inc., believes the alarm was triggered by work being done by the company on the church roof. Larochelle said the entire 14,400-square foot roof is being replaced and that the new roof is being designed to enhance circulation within the church. He said crews are about halfway through the project and that with seven days of good weather it should be completed.
