Thomas F. Marshall, 72, passed peacefully Monday, May 29, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Lois A. (Gates) Marshall.
Born in Providence, the son of the late Louis and Philomena (Ranieri). He had been a resident of Warwick for 45 years. Mr. Marshall was employed by Star Market for 25 years, where he held various positions in stores throughout RI. In his younger years, he played keyboards in the band, Straight Up. He also served in the Rhode Island National Guard for 10 years. He loved sports, especially watching the Yankees.
He was the beloved father of Thomas F. Marshall, Jr. (Denise), Kristen N. Kibbe (Russell), and Kimberly A. Leavitt (Richard); grandfather of Amy and Derek Marshall, Kaitlyn and Matthew Kibbe and Kaleigh Leavitt; brother of Dr. Rosemary Marshall.
His funeral will be held Friday, June 2, 2017 at 9 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Clement Church, Long St., Warwick. Visiting hours Thursday 4-7 p.m.
