To the Editor:
I would like to publicly thank Mayor Solomon and the City Council members (including Joseph Gallucci) for presenting me with the resolution of congratulations at the council meeting on Jan. 23. It was an honor that will always be remembered, especially with my loving family in attendance.
My time in Warwick during the past 57 years has been important to me. What was possibly accomplished could not have been done without the assistance of so many like-minded volunteers contributing their time and effort. My heart goes out to all of you, including June Langevin, John Howell and Bob Cushman.

Dear Gene,
You and I disagreed more than we agreed on School Committee matters, but no one will ever be able to accuse you of not caring. For that and a million hours of donated time to the City and its' children, I thank you.
Stay well friend.
Rick
