A Hollywood everyman is like a next door neighbor or a best friend. It feels good to spend time with an everyman, and very few stars can be one because what makes them unique is that they seem perfectly ordinary. See four films by beloved Hollywood everyman Tom Hanks at Warwick Public Library on Thursdays at 7 p.m.

On February 20 enjoy Big (1988), starring Tom Hanks and Elizabeth Perkins. Thirteen-year-old Josh Baskin changes into an adult after he asks a Zoltan fortune telling machine to make him big.

On February 27, watch Sleepless in Seattle (1993), starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. Journalist Annie Reed falls in love with Sam Baldwin when she hears him talk about his late wife on the radio.

On March 5, see Apollo 13 (1995), starring Tom Hanks and Ed Harris. Astronaut Jim Lovell and Flight Director Gene Kranz struggle to bring Apollo 13 home after an accident in space.

On March 12, sit back for Sully (2016), starring Tom Hanks and Laura Linney. Pilot Chesley Sullenberger fights for his reputation after he lands his Airbus A320 on the Hudson River.
