Troop's 83rd Eagle

Raymond Norberg, who completed his Eagle Badge requirements more than a year ago, received the honor in ceremonies Saturday at the Asbury Methodist Church. A member of Troop 1 Gaspee Plateau, Norberg built picnic tables for the House of Hope as his Eagle community service project. Norberg is a graduate of Pilgrim High School and is currently enrolled at CCRI. He is interested in technology and is considering a career in computer graphics or development of computer games. Started in 1932, Troop 1 Gaspee Plateau now has 85 Eagle Scouts to its history. Fourteen adult Eagles, many who had come from the ranks of Troop 1, participated in Saturday’s ceremony.
