To the Editor:

Many thanks for your coverage of Meals on Wheels, and also for Anthony D'Abrosca's very pertinent letter.

My dad (WW2 vet, soon to be 95 yrs old) greatly appreciates his Meals on Wheels. It is truly troubling that we have an administration that is willing to let these seniors who rely on this well-run, low-cost service hang out to dry.

Not only is it troubling, it is indicative of motive, and much could be said about that.

I know well that Meals on Wheels is not a particular target, but it is certainly a target in fact.

I will rest my case here.

    Dear Michael McNamara.

Please call me at 401-338-9900. You mention that there is "much to be said". Please educate me. I am anxious to learn what you and your dad are going through so I can get the target off the back of "Meals on Wheels" that clearly is there. My father was also a WW2 Vet. He would have been 100 this year.

    Thank you Michael.

    Happy summer everyone.
