Trudeau client donates green on the green

Roy Ellsworth, (right) a client at the Trudeau Center, is up to par on his golf skills. Earlier this summer, he helped raise $1,800 during a golf tournament held at Harbor Lights Golf Course and donated the funds to The Trudeau Center’s Worksite Partners Program, which he takes part in. Ellsworth, whose father taught him to golf, is a tournament celebrity and presented Trudeau employee Curtis Waters (left) with the donation. In recent years, the tournament hadn’t been scheduled but Ellsworth is happy it’s back in action. The goal of the Worksite Partners Program is to maintain employment within the community for people with developmental disabilities. It currently supports approximately 50 individuals ranging in age from 21 to 35-years-old. From left are Waters, Patti Carter Marie Ahlert, Nikki Hartshorn Maureen McGovern Pat Jankowski Senator Bill Walaska, a member of the Trudeau board, and Ellsworth. (Submitted photo)
