Pastor Mark Burns, who traveled across the country with Donald Trump and spoke at many of his rallies, will discuss the president’s accomplishments and his coverage by the news media at a free event Friday at the Crowne Plaza.
Republican turned independent candidate for governor, Joseph Trillo is sponsoring the event. Trillo was honorary chairman of Trump’s Rhode Island campaign and served as a state representative from Warwick.
Time magazine labeled Burns as "Donald Trump's Top Pastor." He has been named one of the "16 People Who Shaped the 2016 Presidential Election." Burns has appeared on Fox News, CNN, CBS, MSNBC, Fox Business, BBC and NPR. He is the co-founder and CEO of the NOW Television Network and is a nationally renowned motivational speaker.
While there is no cost to attend the event, registration is required and may be made by calling Tina at 826-9100. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Trillo will make introductory remarks at 7 p.m. followed by Pastor Burns. A $100 donation is suggested for the meet and greet with Trillo and Pastor Burns.
