Universal Wealth Management, a leading financial and insurance services firm headquartered in Cranston, is hosting more than a half dozen free seminars during the final week of the 2019 Open Enrollment, which concludes on Saturday, December 7. The free information seminars help clarify the complexities associated with, Social Security, Medicare and retirement.

Overall, Universal Wealth Management has held nearly 200 seminars since Open Enrollment kicked off on October 15. The 2019 program concludes this Saturday, December 7.

“Time is running out to make changes to your Medicare plan,” said Karen Emma, president/CEO of Universal Wealth Management.

“Is your current plan still your best choice for 2020, or could you do better? Plans change every year, and so can your health, life, and financial situation. It is important to understand all of your options. These important seminars, which we are holding during Open Enrollment, translate the complexities that can be so confusing. Truly understanding Medicare Plans is crucial for assuring adequate healthcare coverage at the lowest possible cost.”

UWM’s Financial Longevity Bundle provides financial advisory and retirement planning services which are uniquely broadened to reflect the increasing costs of Healthcare / Medicare and lack of cost of living increases in Social Security.  The increases in these costs have continued to create a financial burden on families and significantly affect retirement plans and retirement income streams.

The upcoming Open Enrollment informational seminars, held during the final week of open enrollment, are held in conjunction with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of RI, UnitedHealthcare and Aetna. The hour-long seminars will be held at Universal Wealth Management, 945 Reservoir Ave., Cranston, today at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.; Thursday at 5 p.m., Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 10:30 a.m. and tomorrow at 1 p.m. at Chelo’s at Apple Valley in Smithfield.
