Set your creativity free. Let Kimberly Cotter-Lemus show you how to awaken your creative spirit with imagery, sound, and meditation in a three-part workshop at Warwick Public Library on Wednesdays, March 7, 14 and 21 at 7 p.m.

On March 7 begin your exploration with the Tarot. Pick a card from a Tarot deck, study its symbolic imagery, and discover how visual stimulation can arouse your imagination.

On March 14, continue your search with Sound Meditation. Learn how to make sounds that vibrate throughout your body, and explore how physical stimulation can awaken emotion and feeling.

On March 21, complete your journey with Visual Journaling. Explore your subconscious mind, and find out how mental stimulation can make you aware of your inner self.

Bring the following materials to class: one tarot deck, a journal or notebook and an assortment of drawing supplies (such as pens, markers, colored pencils and crayons).

Kimberly Cotter-Lemus, Ph.D., is a graduate of Salve Regina’s Expressive and Creative Arts Program. She has helped artists, musicians, writers, and other inventive people find and explore their creative core.

Limited to 12 participants, register online at warwicklibrary.org or call 739-5440 x4. For more information call 739-5440 x9758. The library is located at 600 Sandy Lane. This event is free and open to all.
