Valvoline Instant Oil Change customers can help fight cancer by contributing $1 or more to the Jimmy Fund through the “A Chance for Kids & Families” fundraiser at participating locations from July 24 through Sept. 3. The Valvoline Instant Oil Change locations at 1130 Warwick Ave. and 1600 Post Rd. in Warwick and 159 Putnam Ave. in Johnston are participating.

With each contribution of $1 or more, customers will receive a guaranteed-win promotion card with prizes including vacations from Elite Island Resorts and Funjet Vacations, American Airlines AAdvantage miles, cash prizes, theme park tickets, Blue Man Group tickets, Lyft ride, and Valvoline Instant Oil Change services, as well as food prizes and gift cards from Burger King restaurants. Customers can also enter the unique code found on each promotion card at www.jimmyfund.org/acfkf for a chance to win additional prizes. Complete promotion details can be found at participating locations.

“The Jimmy Fund has long been a pillar in our community, and the work it does to support cancer research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is remarkable,” said Don Smith, CEO of Henley Enterprises, Inc., which operates 48 New England Valvoline Instant Oil Change locations. “We are honored by this opportunity to support such a world-renowned organization.”

Since 2014, Valvoline Instant Oil Change has raised nearly $80,000 for the Jimmy Fund to support patient care and cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

“We are proud to partner with Valvoline and are grateful for their involvement with A Chance for Kids & Families,” said David Giagrando, assistant vice president, Corporate Partnerships in Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Division of Development & the Jimmy Fund.  “We continue to be amazed and humbled by the generosity of the service centers and their customers, whose support of the Jimmy Fund help everyday families facing a cancer diagnosis.”
