Vera E. Steiner, 89, of Warwick died Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late George Steiner, Jr.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Amelia Koslowsky. Vera was a graduate of Classical High School and the Boston Conservatory of Music where she refined her skills as a Classical Pianist. She was employed as a Medical Secretary and was also a member of the Russian-American Club.
Vera is survived by her beloved children: Richard R. Steiner (Susan) of Warwick, Peter Steiner of Newport, Gail Davies of Australia and Diane P. Hall (K. Putnam Hall) of Everett, WA; six “perfect” grandchildren: Kristen, Casey, Gregory, Jeffrey, Jason and Jackson; and four great-grandchildren: Lilly, Scarlett, Cooper and Campbell.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 1 p.m. in the Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. www.murphyfuneralhomes.org
