Vets places three girls in top eight at cheerleading states


The State Individual Cheerleading Championships were held this past Wednesday, with girls from all three Warwick public schools competing.

While no Toll Gate or Pilgrim competitors finished in the top 20, Warwick Vets placed three girls in the top eight. Leading the way was Shana Sabalewski, who took fourth place with a score of 72.7. Molly Leonard finished in sixth place with a score of 72.5 and Corinne Coszor took eighth with a score of 71.7. West Warwick’s Brighton Landroche took home first place with a score of 75.8
