Victor Joseph Pouliot, 87, of Cranston died Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the Cedar Crest Nursing Home in Cranston.

Born in Providence, he was one of twelve children of the late Nelson and Marie (Dupuis) Pouliot. Victor was employed as a Machinist at Mossberg Industries until retiring. He enjoyed bowling and resided in New Hampshire for twenty-four years. Victor honorably served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He served aboard the USS Newport News CA-148 and earned the Navy Occupation Service Medal (Europe Clasp) and the National Defense Service Medal.

Victor is survived by a niece: June M. Dessaint of Warwick; a nephew: Albert V. Thibault of North Carolina; a grandnephew and two grandnieces. He was the brother of the late Aurore M. Thibault.

His Committal Service with military honors will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited and are welcome to assemble at the Administration Building Parking Area at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery on Thursday at 10:15 a.m..
