Violet (Clarke) Theberge

Violet (Clarke) Theberge, age 66, of Hoxsie Avenue, Warwick, passed away at home on Monday, August 14, 2017. She was the wife of Ronald G. Theberge.

Born in Providence, the daughter of the late William and Violet (Borsey) Clarke, she lived in Warwick for 40 years. She was a graduate of Roger Williams College. Mrs. Theberge was a teacher at St. Mary’s Home for Children in North Providence for 8 years before retiring.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Sherri L. Theberge of St. John, Virgin Islands; two sons, Eric B. Theberge and Scott B. Theberge, both of Warwick; two brothers, Andrew Clarke and Robert Clarke; a sister, Mary Hamilton; and three granddaughters, Alexis Theberge, Makenna Theberge, and Violet Stamford. She was the sister of the late John Clarke, Jean Bonner, and William Clarke.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday, August 18, at 11 a.m. in the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited, and may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 9-11 a.m. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
