Voices of the Earth: People Helping People Concert and Poetry Reading

Notable Works Publication and Distribution Co., Inc., a non-profit arts organization dedicated to raising awareness for environmental and social issues through the arts, is pleased to announce that we will be honoring Crossroads Rhode Island at a concert and poetry reading entitled “Voices of the Earth: People Helping People” on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 3 pm at St. Luke's Episcopal Church at 99 Peirce Street, East Greenwich, Rhode Island. This fall event hosted by Notable Works and sponsored by Turf Works of Warwick, RI, will feature performances by Tina Bernard, Maria Bilyeu, Dalita Getzoyan, Noreen Inglesi, Mary Ann Rossoni, Alison Shea and Mary Zema. Special guests include keynote speaker Pat Campellone of Crossroads Rhode Island, the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church Choir under the direction of Rodney Ayers, the Poetry Loft and Crosswinds Poetry. There will be a 50/50 raffle drawing with consolation prizes and refreshments provided by local businesses such as Ronzio Pizza and Texas Roadhouse of East Greenwich and the local Stop and Shops. Please bring a household item for Crossroads’ Welcome Home Kits such as laundry and cleaning supplies, trash bags, dish soap, dustpans, etc. and you will receive a free gift. This event is open to the public and is handicapped accessible. Admission is $5.00 per person and children under 12 are free.
