Voices of the Earth: People Helping People Concert and Poetry Reading

Notable Works will be hosting a concert and poetry reading, which will honor the Nature Conservancy of Rhode Island, entitled “Voices of the Earth: People Helping People” scheduled for Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 1 pm at Brooklyn Coffee and Tea House, 209 Douglas Ave., (near the intersection of Chalkstone and Douglas Ave.) Providence, Rhode Island. This spring event is sponsored by The State Ballet of Rhode Island, AAA Northeast and Kathy Gormley of Cranston and will feature original works by Notable Works’ Artist in Residence and Rhode Island’s award winning composer and poet Noreen Inglesi. Performers Tina Bernard, Maria Bilyeu, Dalita Getzoyan, Alison Shea and Mary Zema as well as poets from the Poetry Loft and Crosswinds Poetry will also be part of this event. There will be a 50/50 raffle drawing and refreshments will be provided. This event is open to the public and is handicapped accessible. Admission is $5.00 per person. Please bring a box of recyclable trash bags, a pair of work gloves or a pair of binoculars for the Nature Conservancy and you will receive a free gift.
