Open Letter to Mayor Solomon and the City Council:

In February of 2018 $30,000 was allocated to hire the accounting firm YKSM to produce certain reports pertaining to the fiscal condition of the city of Warwick. It has now been some 14 months and the residents as of this date have not seen the product of their hard earned tax dollars.  Two union contracts with large raises have been passed without the basic information needed to make informed decisions.  With maximum tax increases certainly in our future, the residents of Warwick deserve to know the truth about the current fiscal position of the city.

I respectfully request that you immediately set a date to present these findings to the public. The following tasks need to be implemented immediately.

1. SET THE DATE

2. PICK THE VENUE – NOT THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS AS IT IS TOO SMALL

3. ADVERTISE THE MEETING SEVERAL TIMES TO NOTIFY THE RESIDENTS

4. USE THE CITY ROBO CALL SYSTEM TO NOTIFY RESIDENTS WELL IN ADVANCE

5. PRODUCE A POWER POINT PRESENTATION OF THE FACTS

6. ALLOCATE TIME FOR QUESTIONS FROM THE RESIDENTS

After the presentation the members of the council should be obligated to hold additional meetings within their ward to allow everyone an opportunity to have access to this information.

Please set forth your plan immediately. Those of us that have been paying attention already know the truth. Please put forth this information without delay.

Why is the audit not subject to the open records act?

It certainly is Dave. Taxpayers paid a lot of money for it. The council Is hiding it. Surly if it shows that the fire department union owes millions back to the city as Mr. Cote claims they will release it ASAP. 14 months later and we have nothing.

    Ummm Jimmy,

The audit pertains to the 5 year fiscal projection of the city. Try to stay on point.

I want to see the FD Audit. The one you claim will make the FD owe millions back to the city. Where is that audit? If it will prove you right why aren’t you calling for it to be released.

And when did I claim that Jimmy??? Lets talk facts:

    1. The side deal on unused sick time was made outside of ratification and the numbers were manipulated. Look at the contract language. " he or she shall, at the end of each year, be entitled to

be paid for three-fourths (3/4) of his or her unused, yearly sick leave entitlement, prorated on a monthly basis, not to exceed fifteen (15) days".

Do you see the 3/4? When you do the math this was exceeded. In some cases by huge margins. The premise of the language is to pay 3/4 or 75% of the UNUSED PORTION of the allocation of sick days. In other words, the only way you can get paid for 15 days is if you had perfect attendance. You cant take 8 days out and still get paid the maximum of 15 days. 20 - 8 = 12 12 x .75% = 9 days. How could there be so many men that took 8 days out yet still were paid for perfect attendance. Im not going to argue mathematics with you as you will always try to spin it.

    2. The vacation increase language was never in the tentative agreement, nor was it in the fiscal note, nor was it spoken about. Yet months later it shows up in the contract, and no one finds it but me. That manipulation was just under $100,000.

    3. The medical exams was a complete scam. Language was removed 6 years ago, savings shown on the fiscal note, yet the line item funded every year and the money just happened to disappear.

I cant beat the point anymore. There is and has been manipulation on a massive scale. You know it, everyone knows it. I dont care what any audit says, I dont need an audit to perform simple math.

That’s YOUR interpretation. There are legal minds the disagree with you. And the physicals? I guess your not in the loop anymore. I’ll let you figure that out on your own. Lol

    Robbie Robbie Robbie,

First you write a letter demanding the audit be released. Now you say that you don’t need the audit.

This reminds me of you killing all the animals, then you didn’t kill any. You really have no credibility and it didn’t take long for the FBI to figure that out.
