Are movie characters who don’t follow rules the best, the worst, or somewhere in between? It probably depends on whether you’re a rebel, a traditionalist or a person who likes a bit of both. See four films about hilarious and challenging rule-breakers at Warwick Public Library on Thursdays at 7 p.m.

On February 15, see Duck Soup (1933), starring Groucho, Chico and Harpo Marx. President Rufus T. Firefly and turncoat spies Chicolini and Pinky bring the country of Freedonia to its knees when they start a war with its neighbor Sylvania.

On February 22, watch Dr. Strangelove, Or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964), starring Peter Sellers and George C. Scott. When rogue general Jack D. Ripper orders the Air Force to attack the Soviet Union, the Pentagon struggles to recall a bomber piloted by gung-ho Major T.J. "King" Kong.

On March 1, enjoy M*A*S*H (1970), starring Donald Sutherland and Elliott Gould. Mobile Army Surgical Hospital surgeons Hawkeye Pierce and Trapper John McIntyre refuse to take the Army or the Korean War seriously.

On March 8, sit back for The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004), starring Bill Murray and Cate Blanchett. Famous oceanographer Steve Zissou seeks revenge on the jaguar shark that ate his partner Esteban du Plantier.
