WellOne ‘harvest of health’ features Livingston Taylor at Country Club

WellOne Primary Medical and Dental Care will hold A Harvest of Health with a special musical performance by Livingston Taylor, Friday, Oct. 26 from 6 to 11p.m. at the Warwick Country Club.

As the state’s oldest non-profit community health center, WellOne has cared for all Rhode Islanders, regardless of ability to pay, for 103 years. WellOne offers quality primary medical, dental and behavioral health services to 13,000 patients in medically underserved areas and to populations without options. Many would forego health care were it not for WellOne’s assistance.

All proceeds from this event will help WellOne to continue to offer its charity services, which are particularly critical in these difficult economic times. In addition to cocktails, a dinner buffet and entertainment, the festivities will include a silent auction and raffle. Barbara Morse Silva, NBC 10’s Health Check reporter, will serve as the evening’s emcee.

Tickets are $100 per person and reservations may be made by mailing a check to: WellOne Foundation, P.O. Box 312, Pascoag, RI 02859 or by calling 285-5154 before Oct. 9.

Livingston Taylor’s performance is made possible by a generous donation from Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island.
