The big games were on. Depending what you liked – the Red Sox or the Patriots – there was plenty of action to watch on Sunday afternoon. It was also a perfect day, and while some exerted themselves cheering in front of the TV for “their” team, others took the time to enjoy perfect conditions at Rocky Point, although a little more wind would have made for perfect kite flying conditions for Jonattan Acevedo. On the other hand, Michael Farrell and Ingrid Campbell, who had planned to do some fishing, threw an anchor over the side and walked ashore to enjoy a picnic and the view from the sands of Rocky Beach. Farrell, who lives within sight of the beach, probably used a thimble of gas to get to the retreat, which, as Campbell noted, goes to show some of the best places to visit are just around the corner. You mean there were people doing something OTHER than watching the Patriots CRUSH the Dolphins? I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see these pics..
Who knew?
Happy Autumn everyone.
Rick Corrente (P.S. The Patriots are going to crush the Colts Thursday night)
