William “Boomer” Corcoran

William “Boomer” Corcoran passed away unexpectedly at home on April 29, 2018.

Born on October 12, 1950, he was the son of the late William E. and Margaret (Gillen) Corcoran. He is survived by his brother, Thomas E. Corcoran of Warwick, aunt Nancy Corcoran of Warwick and his many cousins.

Billy also leaves behind many, many friends he made during his years as a beloved bartender at Eddies 529, Brandies Fireside and the Warwick Firefighters, all in Warwick. Billy was a graduate of Pilgrim High School and was an accomplished athlete in his day. He was an honorary member of the VFW 183 Post in Warwick. Billy was a lifelong resident of Warwick.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 18 at 11 a.m. at St. Peters Church, 350 Fair St., Warwick. Burial will immediately follow in Pawtuxet Cemetery, Harrison Avenue, Warwick. A memorial luncheon will be held at the VFW 183 Post on Washington St., Warwick.
